Community Forums
One of the goals of the CEO core is to increase access to evidence-based interventions and community-based participatory research. To accomplish this, the CEO core convenes three community forums each year to promote bi-directional communication and match communities with researchers and implementation scientists who can partner for community-engaged solutions to identified health issues.
These community forums will are conducted in partnership with West Virginia University (WVU) Extension. Extension agents throughout the state play an integral part in planning, conducting, and disseminating the information collected at the forums. The information collected in the community forums is summarized into a Community Forum Highlights document which is shared with forum participants and the community at large.
