The Mountaineer Health Initiative (formerly the WVU Health Disparities Program) is hosting a Meeting of the Minds event focusing on Appalachian poverty and the negative effects it has on the health of West Virginians. Joyce McConnell, J.D., LL.M., West Virginia University Provost, will moderate this event that will highlight the role WVU can play in finding meaningful solutions to the problem.
This event will be held Wednesday, March 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Salon A-B of the WVU Erickson Alumni Center. Please RSVP by March 20 to Rick Remish at raremish@hsc.wvu.edu.
