2nd and 4th Wednesday s of each month from 12-1pm EST
On October 10, 2018 WVCTSI Project ECHO launched the Endocrine (Endo) ECHO project. Its purpose is to expand access to endocrine expertise to rural healthcare providers. During bi-weekly sessions, attendees have the opportunity to present endocrine related cases to specialists and participate in didactics covering a variety of topics including diagnosis, treatment, medication management and evidence-based guidelines in primary care practice for endocrine patients.
Learning Objectives:
- Improve care and promote health in the rural WV diabetic population.
- Identify the classification and diagnosis of diabetes.
- Improve the comprehensive medical evaluation and assessment of comorbidities in diabetic patients.
- Disseminate the updated American Diabetes Association guidelines.
