WVCTSI announces 2 pilot funding opportunities

The West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute has released Requests for Applications (RFA) for the Bench-to-Bedside grant and Jumpstart Grant funding opportunities.

The Bench-to-Bedside opportunity is designed to support basic scientist and clinician Co-PIs conducting clinical and translational pilot projects relevant to improving health in West Virginia and Appalachia. This opportunity allows investigators to request up to $50,000 per year for a total of 24 months.

´╗┐The Jumpstart Grant funding opportunity allows investigators to receive up to $10,000 in funding that must be utilized over a six-month period. This funding opportunity is designed to support small well-defined projects that will lead to measured outcomes such as preliminary data for a larger grant submission.

To assist investigators interested in applying for funding, WVCTSI will host a special information session from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 12. Anyone interested in this virtual event can register here.
