Governance
Since the establishment of the WVCTSI, leadership and faculty at WVU have worked to develop an optimal structure to support a statewide infrastructure for clinical and translational research and to facilitate interactions with collaborating institutions. This structure provides for efficient access to resources and services by investigators, while ensuring strong oversight, both internally, and externally. It relies on a well proven committee structure that we have used for other programmatic funding.
