COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP BOARD

The PRC’s Community Partnership Board (CPB) serves as CEO’s Community Board. The CPB is experienced in providing guidance on research projects, representing community needs and perspectives, identifying new research and collaboration partners, generating research ideas, identifying dissemination channels, conducting CBPR, and research translation and dissemination. Board members come from local WV communities, and from state and local agencies. They represent health care, education, public health prevention and intervention services, churches, civic organizations, and philanthropic non-profits. CPB leadership is composed of two elected co-chairs and a vice chair. Co-chairs serve two-year terms that are staggered to provide leadership continuity. Board leadership participates on the PRC Leadership Team. CPB members also serve on the national PRC Program’s National Community Committee leadership, fostering national access to resources, opportunities, and partnerships.
