Researchers from West Virginia University and University of Kentucky are working together to address Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). PCOS is a condition in which a woman’s ovaries produce more androgens than normal. High levels of androgens interfere with ovulation and can cause cysts to develop on the ovaries.

Mary Huntley Joins the WVCTSI

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Mary J. Huntley, M.P.H., has been named assistant director for operations of the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI).
 

For the past 10 years, Huntley has directed the Office of Research and Grants Administration at CAMC Health Education and Research Institute, Inc. In that position she worked closely with researchers and physicians at the WVU Charleston Division.

WVCTSI Seeking Education & Development Manager

Incumbent will assist the program director of the Clinical Research Education, Mentoring, & Career Development (CREMCD) program of the WVCTSI in the day to day operations related to oversight of the certificate and M.S. programs in Clinical & Translational Science as well as the research scholar program, research boot camp, two-day resident workshop, seminar series and related mini-workshops and other similar CREMCD activities.
